day one
wandered outside the central district for coffee with the locals. ate pho street side on stools 2 inches off the ground - we felt like giants. walked til our feet ached. made travel plans to halong bay. had incredible food for lunch - bk had his first round of fish sauce & I had a whole new kind of fried chicken. napped too long (damn jet lag). popped out for dinner, which was a bit...
