Photo 23 Feb 4 notes overall, we really enjoyed exploring the ruins near siem reap today. we visited angkor wat, angkor tom and ta prom, as well as a few smaller sites. while I think we had hyped the whole thing up in our minds a little too much, and were expecting the mystical jungle atmosphere that is painted in movies, these ruins truly are spectacular. it was a great (and omg sweaty) day and I must have taken 100+ photos, none of which do these structures any justice.
